Sook Ming obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy (Honours) in 2010 from the National University of Malaysia and practised in Tan Tock Seng Hospital, where she specialized in Hand and Upper Limb Rehabilitation for more than 10 years. With her additional qualifications as a Certified Hand Therapist and Certified Lymphedema Therapist, Sook Ming is well versed in various upper limb rehabilitation techniques.

Sook Ming understands that an upper limb injury is more than just a physical impairment, and thus strongly believes in using a holistic approach to client care to help optimize quality of life. Combining her knowledge of Occupational Therapy and Upper Limb Rehabilitation, she strives to optimize rehabilitation results through the functional engagement of the hands.

Beyond providing rehabilitation for clients, Sook Ming actively participated in training future generations of therapists. She was integral in mentoring junior therapists and also shared her clinical experience with other colleagues through educational talks.
